Goals and Multi-Event Tracking

Last updated: September 17, 2026
How to Use Reports in TrackOG

Goals let you track multiple conversion events within one offer — each with its own payout and revenue.

Example: A trading platform offer has three goals:

  • Registration — Revenue ₹80, Payout ₹50
  • First Deposit — Revenue ₹450, Payout ₹300
  • Trade Completed — Revenue ₹150, Payout ₹100

Where to find it

Offers > [Offer] > Edit > Revenue and Payout > Default Goal + Add Goal

Setting up goals

  1. Default Goal Name — primary event (e.g. Lead, Install)
  2. Revenue + Payout for default goal
  3. Click Add Goal for secondary events
  4. Each additional goal: name, revenue, payout

How the advertiser fires goal-specific postbacks

Include the goal name in the postback URL: https://yourdomain.trackog.net/postback?click_id=abc123&goal=first_deposit&revenue=450

If no goal parameter: TrackOG uses the Default Goal.

Private goals

A private goal is visible in admin but not to affiliates. Use for internal tracking (e.g. Advertiser Invoice Received).

Turn on Cancel Conversions with Private Goal in Settings > Tracking to auto-cancel conversions matching only private goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can the same click trigger multiple goals? A: Yes. Registration and Deposit can both fire — each generates a separate conversion record and payout.

Q: What is the difference between Default Goal and extra goals? A: Default Goal is the primary event affiliates optimise for. Extra goals track secondary events. If no goal name is in the postback, TrackOG uses the Default Goal.

Q: How do affiliates see goal-level performance? A: In their Affiliate Report, if you enable it in Settings > Affiliates > Conversion Report Status.
