Settings explained
Auto Assign Affiliate Manager
New affiliates automatically assigned to the default manager. Set it so no affiliate is unmanaged.
Auto Approve Affiliate
- Off (default): New self-registered affiliates go to Pending — manual approval required
- On: New affiliates automatically set to Active
Keep Off unless your sign-up is invite-only. Manual review prevents fraudulent accounts.
Conversion Report Status Visible to Affiliates
- Approved and Pending always visible
- Rejected — toggle on for transparency; affiliates optimise faster when they see rejections
Smart Link Access
- On: Affiliates can see and use Smart Links in their panel
- Off: Smart Links are admin-only
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: A new affiliate signed up but they can't log in. Where are they? A: If Auto Approve is off, they're in Affiliates > All Affiliates with Status = Pending. Change to Active to approve.
Q: Should I show rejected conversions to affiliates? A: Yes, if your advertisers have strict quality requirements — affiliates who see rejections optimise faster.
