Quick Start: Launch Your First Offer and Track a Conversion

Get your first offer live and verify a conversion is tracked correctly — in seven steps.

Before you begin

• You can log in to your TrackOG panel
• You have the advertiser's landing page URL
• You know the revenue (from advertiser) and payout (to affiliates)

Step 1: Add the advertiser

Advertisers > Create Advertiser → enter Full Name and Email → click Create Advertiser.

Step 2: Create the offer

Offers > Create Offer → choose Objective, select advertiser, enter Title and Advertiser Offer URL with {click_id} macro, select Server Postback, set Revenue and Payout → click Create Offer.

Step 3: Add an affiliate

Affiliates > Create Affiliate → enter Full Name and Email → click Create Affiliate.

Step 4: Generate the tracking link

Generate a link: https://yourdomain.trackog.net/c?oid=OFFER_ID&affid=AFFILIATE_ID

Step 5: Give the advertiser your postback URL

Share the offer's server postback URL with the advertiser's technical team so they can send conversions back with the click ID.

Step 6: Set up and test the affiliate postback (optional)

Affiliates > Postbacks → Create Postback → add affiliate's URL → test it in Affiliates > Postbacks Test.

Step 7: Verify the conversion

Click the tracking link, complete a test conversion, then check Reports > Conversions and Reports > Postback Logs.

Verify it worked

• Click appears in Reports > Clicks
• Conversion appears in Reports > Conversions with correct affiliate
• Dashboard Conversions card increases

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to do all seven steps every time? A: Only when adding a new advertiser or affiliate. Once set up, just create offers and generate links.

Q: The tracking link gives an error. What do I check? A: Verify the offer is Active and the oid (offer ID) and affid (affiliate ID) in the URL are correct.

Q: A test click was recorded but no conversion appeared. Why? A: The advertiser's postback may not be configured yet, or {click_id} is missing from the Advertiser Offer URL.
