Offer Objectives Explained: Conversions, Sale, App Installs, Leads, Impressions, Clicks
Last updated: September 17, 2026
The objective tells TrackOG what the advertiser pays for and how to handle goals and attribution.
Where to find it
Offers > Create Offer > Offer Details > Choose an Objective
The six objectives
| Objective | Advertiser pays for… | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Conversions | Any custom event — most flexible | Registration + deposit tracked as separate goals |
| Sale | A purchase, often revenue share % | 8% of each Shopify order value |
| App Installs | App install (install = default goal) | ₹40 per Android install |
| Leads | Form submission or sign-up | ₹600 per approved loan application |
| Impressions | Ad views | ₹50 per 1,000 views |
| Clicks | Traffic delivered (pay-per-click) | ₹2 per click |
How to choose
- Ask what the advertiser invoices for — that event is your objective
- Multiple paid events? → Conversions + add Goals
- Percentage of order value? → Sale
- Mobile app with MMP? → App Installs
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I change the objective after the offer is live? A: Yes, but do it carefully — changing the objective may affect how existing conversions are handled. Coordinate with your advertiser.
Q: Which objective should I use for a fintech app with registration and deposit goals? A: Use Conversions, then add Registration and First Deposit as separate goals with their own payouts.
