Using Tags to Organize Offers, Affiliates and Advertisers

Last updated: September 17, 2026
How to Use Advertiser Tags in TrackOG

Tags are labels you apply to offers, affiliates and advertisers. As your network grows, tags make filtering and bulk actions fast.

Where to find tags

  • Offers > Tags
  • Affiliates > Tags
  • Advertisers > Tags

Assign tags when creating or editing any record.

Creating a tag

  1. Go to relevant Tags page
  2. Click Add Tag
  3. Enter name e.g. "Finance", "VIP Affiliate", "India Traffic"
  4. Save

How to use tags effectively

For offers: Vertical (Finance, Gaming), geo focus (India, UAE), status (New Launch, Top Performer)

For affiliates: Traffic type (Push, SEO, Social), tier (Premium, Under Review)

For advertisers: Size (Direct, Agency), vertical (Finance, Retail)

Tags with Smart Links

When creating a Smart Link with Type = Tag, TrackOG automatically includes all offers with that tag. New tagged offers join the Smart Link automatically.

Tags with Mailer

In Settings > Mailer, select a tag as scope to email only that segment — cleaner than emailing everyone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I apply multiple tags to one offer? A: Yes — assign as many as needed.

Q: What happens if I delete a tag? A: The tag is removed from all records. Records themselves are unaffected.
